Hello, my name is Jahsol, and I come to you in the name of The Biddle Man himself! If you aren't familiar with us: we're a Black-owned thrift store in the heart of Mt. Vernon, founded by Kai Lively. The Biddle began in 2020 as a memorial to friends & family who've passed away & to a special time in the Baltimore Art/Music scene. We’ve all had the privilege of watching The Biddle blossom into the community gem we now know it as.

As I said the Biddle Man: Kai Lively is why I come to you today. To say the least he is going to be out of commission for awhile. His jaw was broken, calling for him to get emergency surgery this past weekend. He's doing well- and in high hopes about recovery! However we're the only two who can consistently work here, so we're down on average 50% on productivity right now...

To keep building our space we need YOUR HELP raising funds! We were already climbing out of a financial pit prior to the recent craziness, due to the ceiling collapsing in last November (among many many other things since), and we will continue the battle! But we're due for reinforcements... All donations will go to paying operational expenses such as back rent wifi, employee wages, repairs, maintenance & renovations, etc.
