2023 CWRU Crew Ergathon
Donation protected
As a university club sport, Case Crew is responsible for the majority of its own fundraising in order to cover the costs of equipment, maintenance, and travel to regattas. These are considerable expenses, and we have been effective in covering them with bake sales and volunteering at the Brown’s Stadium. However, we are asking you to participate in another, very important, fundraiser – the Ergathon! The Ergathon is an annual fundraising tradition in which members of the crew team get together to row for 24 hours straight. The event requires at least one person to be on a rowing machine at all times for the continuous 24-hour period. The proceeds that we will be gathering from this fundraiser will go directly to the payment of our vital spring training trip, which will take place March 11th through March 18th in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Relocating to warmer waters for this week is crucial for developing the fitness and technique that is necessary to succeed in collegiate rowing.
