'23 Canada Junior Gymnastics Champions Fundraiser

June 19th:

Special acknowledgment and congratulations to one of the group members, Veronika Drevylo, for getting 4th place in the individual competition as well as the Junior team competition at the Pan American Championships! It was an amazing experience to compete against the strongest gymnasts from the Americas. Veronika qualified for all 4 finals and was the only one gymnast who represented Canada individually and in the team at the Pan-American Championship. The next step is the Junior World Championships in Romania!

June 16th:

We are so pleased to announce that Cindy He will be joining the Team to compete in the World Championships! Cindy is an outstanding athlete who will compete alongside the rest of the girls in the ball routine! Welcome, Cindy, to the Team!

June 11th:

Congratulations to the Junior Team for getting 4th place in the Pan American Championships! It was an amazing experience to compete against strong teams from the Americas. The girls will be returning home and start training hard for the World Championships in Romania next month!

June 5th:

Meet the 2023 Canadian Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Group Champions!

Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics Group consisting of Alice Tarassov, Emily Liu, Julianna Kaminsky, Katerina Alexandrova, Veronika Drevylo, Veronika Sobolevskaia, and now also Cindy He (welcome Cindy!) became Canadian Champions at the 2023 Canadian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship in May and won 4th place at the 2023 Pan American Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Mexico in June. The Team now qualifies to represent Canada at the Junior World Championship that will be held in Romania in July.

The girls worked very hard every day to earn the right to represent our country and are extremely excited and looking forward to realizing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Unfortunately, the athletes need to personally cover all the costs (travel, accommodation, etc…) which are quite high, over $35,000 for the group, and we need everyone’s help to make these girls' dreams come true.

We would really appreciate any contribution, no matter the size, to help the girls proudly represent Canada at the Junior Pan Am and World Championships.
