After 2 years of sharing our Carnaval community spirit via video classes, Sambaxe is excited to be joining this year's Carnaval in person!!

While the theme of this year's SF Carnaval is "Colores de Amor", Sambaxé will specifically focus on "Community Resilience".

The Community Resilience theme was inspired by the Tropicalia/Tropicalismo Era and Movement of Brazil in the late 1960s. It was a vivid, multi-disciplinary blossom, ranging from poetry to films; theater to visual art.

 

The love of music and dance fuels Rafaella Falchi, our Founder's, artistic expression. We are excited to share how our passion for Brazilian music and dance brings the diverse cultures of Sambaxé together.

 

All of our fundraisers support Sambaxé's participation in the 2022 Carnaval Parade (transport, sound system, participation fees, food, and studio related fees to name a few).
