We are raising funds to bring about 100 Vietnam Veterans and Vietnam Era Veterans (two busses) to Washington DC.
Some of our Vietnam veterans and Vietnam Era veterans have never been to our nation’s capitol to see the impressive memorials and other historic sites in which we, as Americans, feel so much pride. For many, it will be the trip of a lifetime. Our Committee is working hard to organize the logistics of the trip, but we need your help to make it a reality!
The four-day coach bus tour will include sightseeing around Washington, but especially visits to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Tomb of Unknown Soldier where participants will have an opportunity to lay a wreath, reflect and have a brief ceremony.
The trip will be NO COST TO THE VETERANS and include three nights lodging with meals. Veterans will be selected from the North Shore area of Massachusetts.
