We, the High School Robotics team TerrorBytes #4561 (non-profit through RTHS - Research Triangle High School) have qualified to compete at the 2022 FIRST Robotics World Championship in Houston, Texas (April 20-23, 2022).
The team couldn't be more thrilled to experience this transformative event and compete with over 600 teams from over 60 countries worldwide - after 2 years of hiatus due to covid - for the fifth consecutive year! TerrorBytes – with half brand-new students due to covid – is excited to be back competing and traveling to the World Championship.
We are looking for support to cover our travel, lodging, and food costs during our week to and from Houston. As our students represent multiple socio-economic backgrounds, we know that many of them will not be able to participate without significant financial assistance. Our dedicated and inspirational team of 45+ students can grow one step further with your help.
This fund will be fully utilized to offset the cost to students towards this weeklong trip and cover students who otherwise wouldn’t be able to participate. If you cannot donate at this time, please share this page with your friends, neighbors, colleagues and family.
Below are some of the cost per student.
Student bus cost: $300
Student hotel cost for 4 nights: $350
Student meal cost for meals all 5 days: $275
Total cost per student: $925
