2022 Phoenix Cup Charity Classic - Dylan Ortiz

On 12/10/22, Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex is proud to bring back the 3v3 Phoenix Cup Charity Classic to help raise money for families affected by cancer. This year, we are supporting the Ortiz family, and their son Dylan.

Let's meet Dylan Ortiz!

Dylan is a 6 year old boy and expert of all things Captain America, Godzilla, and Teen Titans, among many other things. He is the #1 big brother to his 4 year old little brother, Alex, and he has taught him everything he knows.

He looks up to both his dad, a sheriff deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and his mom, who works for the Conroe Parole Office. He knows they love him very much and they are proud of his bravery during the journey he has ahead of him.

In September 2022, Dylan was diagnosed with Leukemia and has a long battle to take on. But like Captain America, he is ready for whatever cancer may bring his way. We are so happy to have Dylan be a part of our Phoenix Cup and Houston Ice Hockey family. Thank you for supporting Dylan and his family during this difficult time.

The funds raised by our event will go directly to Dylan's family to help support them during the struggles that come with being affected by cancer. Thank you.
