2022 Mountain View Spartans Boys Basketball

Welcome to the 2021-2022 Mountain View Boys Basketball Season!!

We were extremely fortunate to have a season last spring, which ended with a 13-6 record, a second place finish in the De Anza league, and CCS Division I Semifinal Appearance! I am very proud of how hard our athletes have been working all summer and fall as well. The last year and a half has been tough on everyone, especially our student athletes. While I am extremely proud of what they have done in the gym and the weight room, I am even more proud of their resilience! Our athletes do an incredible job of consistently showing the ability to exemplify the core values of respect, integrity, cooperation, teamwork, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and citizenship. I truly believe these values matter more now than ever. I have the upmost confidence that our players will continue to experience success as Spartans and in the future beyond Mountain View High School! The most important objective of our program, is to give our student-athletes the best and most positive environment as possible to learn, train, and play the game.

The cost of providing uniforms, spirit pack gear, equipment, and tournament fees continues to grow each year. We expect to have 50 players participating in our basketball program this year, which is an outstanding number for our program! This definitely is assuring we will continue to have exciting basketball seasons for years to come! To keep our program as competitive as possible with the other teams we play in our area, the needs of our program far exceed what our school budgets are able to provide us. Our goal is to be the best we can be, and to do that we will need your help. We have asked all our players to help raise $400 per player by asking for tax-deductible donations.

Money received in this year’s fundraiser will go to provide the following items:

- Spirit Pack Player Gear - $8,000

- New Game Uniforms - $6,000

- Player/Team Tournament Travel Fees - $3,000

- Tournament Entry Fees - $1,500

- Misc. Equipment – Basketballs, Practice Jersey’s , etc. - $2,000

Total $20,500
