2022 London Lightning U17 Girls Ontario Medalists

Wishes do come true!

Our U17 girls were at the Ontario Championships. Following a team dinner, the girls collectively made a wish in a wishing well that the team qualifies for the Eastern Canadian Championships in PEI. Now they are on their way to play in PEI August 24-28!

They punched their ticket to the Eastern Championships by playing 8 games at the Provincial Championships. Four games were back to back on Sunday, with 20 minutes between games. The Lightning U17 girls are now 1 of 2 teams representing Ontario in PEI.

This team is comprised of 16 and 17-year-old girls from the London region. As you can imagine, the costs associated with taking a team to this next level are expensive. We are committed to making it happen for these hard-working kids! Expenses include hotel, travel, food, etc.
