2022 Gagie FUNd Run for Heart Health
This fun, active event focuses on heart health and fundraising to support The Gagie School. Did you know your heart beats around 100,000 times a day? And pumps 2,000 gallons of blood a day? Your heart affects every part of your body. Let’s take care of it!
On May 26th, students will run/walk/skip in class groups around our FUNd RUN Course for 15 minutes. They will also rotate between stations where they will jump rope, hulu hoop, and do other heart pumping activities. Parents are invited to watch and cheer for our athletes!
Over the past five years, monies raised from The FUNd Run have gone towards replacing windows, doors, roofing, lighting, technology, playground equipment, rebuilding exterior walls, and more! The goal this year is to raise money to resurface the parking lot and do sidewalk repair. Tuition only covers a portion of the school’s annual operating expenses. Your generous giving helps cover the rest!
There are two ways to help raise funds
1) Students are encouraged to find family friends and neighbors to pledge a flat donation for their efforts. A separate handout will be sent home for students to track pledges.
2) We are seeking businesses to sponsor our event. To thank our sponsors, their logos will be on the event t-shirts, yard signs at the pick-up line, and a banner to be displayed at the school. If you are interested, please contact Peggy Kingsley or email the school.
