Recently turned 12, Lamise has qualified to represent Great Britain at the European Taekwondo Cadets Championships taking place in Malta between 25th and 28th of November.
Lamise is an extraordinary young lady who is determined and wants to work hard and remain focused to achieve her dreams. She wants to make her family, friends and all those that love and support her proud. Lamise is an outstanding young role model for the young athletes at her club and the local community's children; she is breaking through barriers and clearly showing what can be achieved through determination, perseverance, and tenacity.
Her aim, passion, and sheer desire to succeed in Taekwondo, a sport which she lives and breathes for is astonishing; she continues to push herself every single training session, whether it is early morning sessions before school or late sessions in the evening, there are never any complaints, she just gets on with it.
We are aiming to raise as much as possible to help fund her journey to the European Championships and beyond. She is hoping to compete in many G2s next year in Europe, all which are self funded and the money raised will contribute to this as well. All funds will help pay towards the training events she has to attend around the country in the lead-up to the competition, as well as entry fees, flights and accommodation.
This is a great opportunity and an experience of a lifetime for Lamise to be representing GB and any contribution for her would be unbelievably appreciated. We will post photos in the lead up to the Championships and updates during the event at the European Championships in Malta. We will also update you with any G2 tournaments that Lamise competes in.
Again, from Lamise and her family, thank you so much xxxxx
