Station Theatre's 2021-22 Fundraiser
Donation protected
Dear Friend of the Station Theatre,
We are all storytellers and there is nothing stronger than the connection between people and storytelling. For nearly fifty years, the Station Theatre has been telling stories that inform and enlighten, that entertain and amuse. Stories that uphold the imagination and transform us.
This year the Station Theatre’s story echoes what many individuals and organizations have faced as we enter a second year of the pandemic. It continues to be a time of challenges and unprecedented circumstances, but also a time of innovation as we connected to our community through:
#ENOUGH: Plays to End Gun Violence
Together/Apart – A Virtual Variety Show
Teen Spotlight: A Summer Theatre Workshop for Teen Artists of Color
Play Readings by Black and Latinx Playwrights
Scary Stories at the Station: Halloween Showcase of Local Art and Artists
It is this time of year that we traditionally ask for your support to continue serving our diverse community. We are grateful for the generous donations that allowed us to replace the stage floor and back wall last spring. This year, your contributions will fund much-needed roof repair ($7300), new furnaces and other ongoing maintenance to preserve our historic theater.
This season’s story continues as we welcome audiences back in person for FEEDING THE DRAGON, a one-woman play featuring Latrelle Bright, on December 3–5. We are also excited to announce that we are finalizing plans for winter/spring events to be announced soon. Please watch our social media or website for updates.
Whether $50, $100, $500, or $1,000 or more, your donation allows us to explore new stories that unite our hearts and minds. Thank you for your continued support and generosity. We look forward to seeing you back at the Station soon!
Warm regards,
The Station Theatre Board of Directors
