2021 BSCDA Trust Fund Trek

On Twitter @TrustFundTrek

My 11 year old son and I are attending both Brisca F1 Stock Car World Semi Final race meetings in 2021: the shale semi at Kings Lynn on 31 July and the tarmac semi at Skegness a week later.

Moved by the recent death of F1 driver 307 Tim Warwick, we will hike from Kings Lynn to Skegness to raise money for the BSCDA Trust Fund.

All the drivers out there, entertaining us in this high speed, full contact thrills sport, could suffer a season ending or life changing injury. We're raising money to support drivers and their families when they need it the most.

When my son and I were planning our Covid enforced 'staycation' our thoughts naturally turned to incorporating stock car racing into the mix. We're both avid fans who love nothing more than a weekend watching the racing. We quickly decided that hiking from King's Lynn to Skegness to watch the two semi finals and, in doing so, raise money for the BSCDA Trust Fund was a great idea. Following the coast wherever we can, our route takes us over  70 miles.

We'd love you to follow our progress between King's Lynn and Skegness on Twitter @TrustFundTrek.
