2021 State Finalist Expenses
Donation protected
After 21 months of waiting, and with a lot of uncertainty and no guarantees of what this fall would look like for marching bands, 90 students and 17 staff committed to work for an opportunity to return to state finals in Lucas Oil Stadium. So many unknowns... would the competitions resume, how long would they continue, would ISSMA competitions and BOA happen, would all this work be shared with anyone other than the band & guard members... Yet they practiced the same number of hours and dealt with the increased adversity that the pandemic has created to bring a dream and goal to life.
Yesterday, part of that goal became a reality and they qualified for state finals for the 2nd time in school history, but that wasn't the entire goal. The goal is to COMPETE at state finals.
Our fundraising opportunities have been limited because of the pandemic, but we would still like to provide a memorable experience for these students and staff that have persevered! (41 of these students had never participated in a band competition until this fall!)
Will you help us put a finishing touch on a remarkable season and reward this hard work and dedication? (Anything above our goal and expenses for this coming weekend will be put towards covering the remaining expenses this year and allow us to begin to plan for next year!) Thank you for all you do to support the Harrison Warrior Command!!
