If you've reached this page, thank you for your consideration of making a contribution to the PTT Scholarship fund to help me reach my goal again this year. The Philip T Tran Scholarship Award was created in my dad's name and is for a graduating high school student in the Sequoia Union High School District* who has incorporated the values of FAMILY, GENEROSITY, HARD WORK, and HUMILITY in their life, and is a leader in their community. Your donation this year will be combined with my own additional funds of $1,000 and all go towards the 2021 scholarship winner's 1st year of college. Previous PTT Scholarship winners have been passionate about various causes including improving teen mental health, advocating for the rights and inclusivity of undocumented families, increasing representation of minority groups, and allocating local government funding to community resources.
Not a single dollar donated goes to neither me nor my dad. 100% of the funds are combined with my $1,000 donation and then sent in one check directly to the winner's college in the fall. THANK YOU for your trust in me to select a deserving and admirable high school graduate for this award! More details and the story behind the scholarship can be found on the website here: www.PTTscholarshipaward.com
*The Sequoia Union High School District serves the cities of Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Atherton, Menlo Park, and East Palo Alto in the Bay Area.
