2021 NYC Marathon: In Honor of Citlalli and Jesse

Helllllllo friends and family! This year I am running the NYC Marathon in memory of my former student Citlalli Contreras and her brother Jesse. Citlalli was a true inspiration to me and her peers-- an ambitious, kind, empathetic leader in our community. In addition to being a model student, she was also an incredibly talented runner on my team.
The proceeds from the marathon will go towards my sponsor, team Robinhood which fights poverty in NYC, and to help fund the running program at Richmond College Prep where I previously taught. Richmond College Prep is a Title 1 school and any donations will provide students with the resources needed to pursue their passion for running, like proper shoes, registration fees, and coaches.
In honor of Citlalli and Jesse, please help us raise money to continue Citlalli’s legacy and keep the kids runnin. Thank you all for your support!
