2021 NYC Marathon for NYPD With Arms Wide Open

This year, I am running the TCS NYC Marathon to raise money for the children and families of NYPD With Arms Wide Open. A 501(c)3 Organization, NYPD With Arms Wide Open was created for officers of all ranks, active and retired, who have medically complex and special needs children. The organization assists with offsetting the cost of medical expenses, prescriptions, durable medical and therapy equipment, handicap accessible modifications and therapy costs that are not covered by NYC health insurance. Of the over 60,000 active and retired Police Officers of the City of New York, it is estimated that 15% (or 9,000 officers and families) are navigating the world of raising a special needs child or medically complex child.
