2021 Fundraiser for Admirals Basketball Academy

It is that time of the year again! My 51st birthday is on July 1st and my twin brother Tony (running in Foley, Alabama) and I (running in West Fargo, North Dakota) are going to do a special challenge this year to celebrate it! We are going to do a "51 in 51 for 51" running challenge. Basically, we are going to run 51 miles in 51 hours for our 51st birthday on July 1-2. It is similar to the 4x4x48 Challenge, only it will be four miles run every four hours (and it is three miles and three hours longer!). By doing this, we want to raise $2,500 or more to help with operational costs for Admirals Basketball Academy in Chisinau, Moldova and Kiev, Ukraine. All we are asking is for our friends and family to donate whatever you are comfortable or able to give. I can assure you that whatever you donate will make a huge difference.

Candy and I cannot say enough about how this ministry is using the game of basketball to change the lives of young people in Eurasia. This is a worthwhile organization to support; we've seen for ourselves on our trip to Moldova in November 2019 the impact the leaders are making. The ministry has spread to Ukraine as well and several of their young people had the opportunity to come to high school here in the United States this past school year.
