2021 CP Senior Ball

Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
We’re a small group of parents taking on the task of creating a safe, open air Senior Ball for our 2021 Class planned for late May of this year. The school has informed us that they cannot arrange nor contribute to a Senior Ball this year. We’re reaching out to you, our friends and family for any size donation to help with this very important occasion.
With all the isolation, loss and disappointment they’ve endured this year, we need to create something special for our Seniors to remember and to show them how much we appreciate them adjusting to so many changes at such a pivotal time in their school careers!
We urgently need your generous support and contribution to make this a successful event. We can’t make this happen without you and want to keep the cost of tickets reasonable enough for all to attend.
We’re also planning a gratitude wall at the event that will include all your well wishes and support to add to the main message that: we’re all here for you!! -we love you, we care about you, we acknowledge this school year has been the hardest on you and we’re all willing to go the extra mile to show you the best time ever!
Thank you in advance!!
~Some heartbreaking facts
Kids are missing out on:
-Scholarship opportunities with their sports, music and academic programs canceled.
-Many took on AP classes during their junior year only to receive a pass or fail grade for all their extra effort and hard work.
The coveted, hard earned senior status affording them all kinds of bonuses, and well deserved swagger on campus they watched previous years enjoy while dreaming of when it’s their time.
-They were robbed of the memory filled game nights, junior and senior year rallies and dances, their junior prom, senior ball, grad night party and now even a graduation ceremony is iffy at this point!
-Their having to immediately switch to online learning w/no transition time to get used to it. Some will face college classes and dorm life without having had live school classes and its interactions for more than a year.  It'll take them longer to acclimate to college life.
-The vital social interaction and social education so vitally  necessary for kids this age. Instead they’ve been isolated and locked down during the most socially active times in their lives!
