2021 Carlsbad Art Wall
Over the past 5+ years, the Carlsbad Art Wall (CAW) has brought 25+ new murals to the Carlsbad Village—each painted on our own rotating urban canvas located on the east facing exterior wall of Señor Grubby's.
The goals of the Carlsbad Art Wall is to:
1. Bring new art to the Carlsbad Village every two months
2. Provide an educational opportunity for aspiring muralists
3. Stimulate local economic growth through urban art
Who benefits from the Carlsbad Art Wall:
My favorite part about the Carlsbad Art Wall is witnessing members of the community, both residents and visitors, interacting with each artist. This project provides a unique opportunity to meet professional artists, ask questions about techniques and experience their creative process. It is so much more than simply painting a wall—it’s an experience!
