2021 Junior Olympics Bound: Support LBC!
As a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers, Lexington Blazin' Cats is extremely pleased to announce that later this month, we will be sending athletes to the 2021 AAU Junior Olympic Games in Humble, Texas. At the Region 6 (KY, TN, AL) National Qualifier Meet in Knoxville, we had 8 AAU Regional Championships, 25 medal finishers (top 3), and 27 athletes qualify for the Junior Olympics in 44 events! That feat would be fantastic any year, but it is especially so this year due to the storms we have encountered.
We have practiced in parking lots and parks for most of the season because of facility restrictions due to Covid. We are thankful we were able to rent track time later in the season from the county, but our finances have also limited our ability to do so, as we have struggled to acquire sponsorships and donations, due to the pandemic's effects on businesses. Despite our challenges, we never gave up, as we were committed to helping our youth. Coaches have stepped up and donated money to supply our scholarship fund and registration fees fund. However, we do not have the funds to finish the season without the assistance of generous donors like you. All proceeds will go directly to benefit our youth. All donations are tax-deductible and receipts can be given upon request. As a donor, you will share in our accomplishments and more importantly, you may change a life forever. Thank you, and God bless!
You may also donate directly on our website at https://lbcblazincats.com/teamregistrations/donate , via Venmo @lbctrack19 , and via Cash App at $LBCtrack . If you wish to donate by check, please address it to Lexington Blazin' Cats, 764 Maidencane Drive, Lexington, KY 40509. Thank you!
