About Addy and Gorilla Heroes:
Since Addy was just 7 years old she has been passionate about saving endangered gorillas. Over the past 5 years she has raised over $11,000 by selling t-shirts, making gorilla rope toys, and hosting an annual fundraising event called the Gorilla Gala. But unfortunately due to the current state of things we had to cancel this year's in-person Gorilla Gala.
BUT just because we can't hold the Gorilla Gala as planned this year doesn't mean we can't still have fun while raising money and awareness for these awesome animals! Over the next several weeks we will be collecting footage, posting video challenges, hosting an online silent auction, and raising money. All of these things will culminate with several video postings on May 30 (the original date of the Gorilla Gala) along with a LIVE post to celebrate (hopefully!) meeting our fundraising goal!
