The South Atlanta Upward Stars are in the process of raising money for the upcoming season.  Many of our players and family could use assistance in paying their fees which include their uniforms, tournament cost, and travel expenses.  For this reason, our players are participating in various fundraisers to help lower their overall cost.

This is a competitive, developmental team travel basketball program that is managed by South Atlanta Upward STARS. The STARS program provides opportunities for youth of all ages and abilities to play basketball.

Basketball is utilized as a vehicle to develop high character, Christian values, work ethic, and teamwork. This season we will have over 20 weeks of practice for 4 to 6 hours a week plus 8 regional tournaments and potentially 2 out of state tournaments.

The total investment for this experience is $900 per player. We hope to significantly reduce this burden for our players and participating families.
