"We are raising funds to sponsor double sided signs featuring the name and photograph of each graduating senior from the 2020 Aberdeen High School class. The signs will be placed in the adjacent Aberdeen City Hall as a way to celebrate their accomplishments, hard work and future success.

We are all facing the stress of the COVID-19 pandemic. What we all are experiencing is not normal.  Many families are facing financial distress, personal loss and a sense of discouragement. As a community, we are all concerned about our seniors and their future. This milestone should be a time to celebrate our graduating seniors. They should be busy with completing classes, deciding on what colleges to attend, spring sports, prom, graduation and parties. They all have worked diligently towards this moment for 12 long years. Unfortunately, the memories they have instead are blemished with the current state of affairs; a global pandemic. Therefore, we are asking you to make a difference by providing a donation/gift to a worthy cause.

The plan is to have a double-sided yard sign for each graduating student. We are also hoping to raise enough funds to make a large banner that will have all the names of the graduates printed. We are asking for $5500 to cover this cost and cover administrative requirements .
