Thank you for taking the time to check out the 2019 Fandango fundraising page! :) It's that time again!!

So what is FANDANGO?
Sexier than you appear in your most vivid dreams, scuzzier than a French quarter gutter on fat Tuesday. We are your neighborhood dive bar, complete with a piano and pool table, serving strong cocktails and playing music with words, all day and all night!
Fandango is a Burning Man village that centers around the Slow Burn Lounge, a twenty-four-seven dive bar and hangout space, that has been out on the Playa every year since 1994!
Over the years the Fandango village has grown to, at times, include many sub camps such as the SLO-Orbitals, M.O.S.P., the Cheeseheads, Temple of Fluff, Primate Habitat, The Blight, and more! Each of these sub camps provide their own style of interactivity and programming, many which take place in the Slow Burn Lounge.
The Slow Burn Lounge is equipped with a handful of dedicated bartenders, who rarely sleep, that are on a mission to get their fellow Burners, (hopefully you), to be very happy and a little bit drunk.
Dishing out cold drinks, delicious foods, and funky beats, Fandango is a must-stop destination on your radical self-journey around the desert!
Please consider donating to help continue to make Fandango the best darn dive bar on the Playa, and please join us in BRC in August, for a cocktail or one of our many fun events, like Taco Tuesday.
What does this campaign pay for?
Donations to this campaign will help the Fandango village be able to:
- Pay for the Uhaul we rent out each year to get the bar there and back
- Gas for the generators (Music and lights helps give the nightlife at the Slow Burn Lounge the funk it wants and needs, so gas for the generators are a must. No dark bars!)
- Booze (Liquor, beer, mixers, ice)
- Beer bong repairs (‘nuff said)
- Piano repairs
- Pool table repairs
- Sound equipment repair (No quiet bars)
- Lighting (No dark bars!!)
What is new this year:
Food license and money towards serving food to fellow burners on Playa!
Possibilities of rebuilding the bar
The Deadline:
Monday August 19th, as we want to make sure we have enough time to get any last minute supplies for the village and bar.
Why donate:
Fandango would love to continue to be a staple in the Burner community and continue to serve cold delicious beverages on Playa. Please help make us continue to make this Village a reality! Also Fandango never asks for camp dues and we don't want to have to start now!
