Dear Wildlife Protector,
We need your help in securing funding for our Wildlife Elementary School Educational Outreach Program in local Napa County elementary schools. Your funding will allow us to educate the children of Napa County to be the next generation of wildlife protectors!
Last year, with a one-time grant of $13,000 and one part time skilled educator, we visited 16 elementary to teach about local wildlife. We developed an innovative curriculum that followed the Next Generation Science Standards and held classes that were interactive and student driven. We fostered a passion for protecting the wild landscapes of Napa County and all the critters who inhabit them with our local youth. We increased problem-solving skills, vocabulary and test scores of 750 plus students and their teachers about local wildlife and ecology. We invested into future generations of ecologists, wildlife rehabilitators, biologist and everyday animal lovers.
It was a phenomenal journey of learning and collaboration with our local Napa County schools. If people like you fund this proven, successful project by September 1st, we will have the funds to launch this program once again. Everything else is in place, all we need is community funding!
Your money will go to:
One part time skilled wildlife educator
Administration of scheduling with schools and teachers
Materials for classes
Help educate the children of Napa County to be the next generation of wildlife protectors!
