2019 Galgo Homecoming

This October, American Greyhound is partnering with Daphne Legacy Tour to bring 15 galgos to their new homes in the US from Spain. As you may know from our previous fundraisers, this is not an easy (or cheap) process. Many of these dogs have lived hard lives and are in now ready to find their new forever homes- but we need your help!
The cost to bring each galgo to the United States is roughly $1,000 USD per dog. For this fundraiser, we're asking for donations that will help to cover some of these costs. Any donation made is considered a sponsorship for the galgo or the items we need.
We've created the following "donation levels" to help outline the cost of each sponsorship:
Harness: $30
Travel Crate: $70
Vet Visit: $100
Flight: $200
Galgo: $500
As a "Thank You" from American Greyhound, we would like to offer a small gift for each level of donor.
Bronze Level (up to $100): Your name listed in a public thank you on our website and social media pages
Silver Level ($100-$200): Your name in the public thank you note and a paw-written thank you note from the galgos themselves
Gold Level ($200-$500): Your name in the public thank you note, a paw-written thank you note, and an American Greyhound shirt
Platinum Level ($500 and up): Your name in the public thank you note, a paw-written thank you note, an American Greyhound shirt, and hard-sided American Greyhound cooler
