2019 El Camino for Alzheimer
Tax deductible
As a part of my journey on El Camino de Santiago/The Way of St. James, I'm raising money to benefit the Alzheimer Association of Puerto Rico and the Evangelical School for the deaf of Luquillo, Puerto Rico.
The Alzheimer Association of Puerto Rico bases itself on three fundamental principals: Education, Communication and Service, Educating the community of Puerto Rico on Alzheimer's disease by disseminating scientific research findings, Promote develop and offer educational programs and training guidelines on Alzheimer's. As some of you may know, my father is now in stage three of this horrible disease.
Our second charity this year is the Evangelical School for the Deaf in Luquillo, Puerto Rico. A school that has been around since 1959 offering bilingual education to children of the hearing impaired community of Puerto Rico from Pre-K to 12th grade. In addition they tutor adults wanting to learn English, Spanish, Mathematics and bible studies.
As you can see, two worthy causes that serve communities in different ways. I'll be walking 75 miles on EL Camino de Santiago in a show of support to these outstanding charities, any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to these causes that mean so much to me and my wonderful wife Liz.
Thanks again for your support!
Buen Camino!
