SGGA Walk-a-Thon 2018

It is time once again to get your walking shoes on and get ready for our 31st annual St. Gregory the Great Academy WALK-A-THON in COLOR! Thirty-one years ago, Principal Sr. Nora Nash initiated the first Walk-a-Thon to help raise funds to build the Parish Center. Since 1986, this event has raised over $361,000.00!  YOU, individually and collectively, have made this possible. Over the past 31 years, needs have changed and today we use the proceeds from Walk-a-Thon in Color to provide emergency tuition assistance for families who have encountered unexpected hardships during the current school year. Our school goal for the WALK is $11,000.00.

This year's WALK-A-THON in COLOR will take place on May 15, 2018, on the Academy grounds, with a rain date of May 16, 2018. The preschool will walk from 9:00 to 9:30, Grades K-3 will walk from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. and Grades 4-8 will walk from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. The students will be walking for 45 minutes and will not be counting laps. This way the children will be able to walk at their own pace.
