2018 Juja, Kenya Mission Trip

Hello everyone! My name is Tyler Walters and I have created this page to help fund my mission trip to Eastern Africa that will take place during this upcoming summer. Myself, along with twelve others from our local church (Northpoint Austin) and MOSAIC, Northpoint's Global Engagement ministry, have decided to travel to Juja, Kenya in early August in an attempt to spread our church’s vision and mission across the globe. There are millions of orphaned and abandoned children around the world with no one to care for them. As followers of christ, we want to do anything and everything we can to help these children in some way, shape, or form. This trip will primarily benefit the children and young adults of metropolitan areas throughout Kenya who weren't gifted with similar opportunities that children here in the U.S. are assured at birth. Not only will the trip grow me in exponential ways, but it will also provide the children in Juja with the opportunity to feel loved and have a strong sense of belonging. Your willingness to give and support towards something so much bigger than any of us could imagine will be used in a variety of ways. Such would include- supporting a locally owned dairy farm in Juja that Northpoint helped establish, help provide for particular orphan care homes on the church property in Juja, necessities for the trip (food, water, shelter, etc...), basic travel and trip expenses, resources to help spread the gospel, a three day safari adventure, and countless of other activities to help support our church's vision and mission. Words can't express my gratitude and thankfulness for your act of generosity to help fund my journey across the world to help establish foundations in these childrens life that will inevitably transform them into well-adjusted adults who have a social coscience to orphans around them. This trip ultimately wouldn't be possible without your willingness to help.
