Spinks' House Build Mexico Mission

This July Tyler and I will be going to Ensenada Mexico for one week to help build two houses for families currently living in poverty.  We are excited to have the opportunity to serve those in need by helping to provide hope for a better future through the most basic of living necessities - shelter.  The project is planned in partnership with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and Homes of Hope.

Over the past year we have been serving in the Evening Discipleship Course at the local YWAM; I am a small group leader and Tyler supports with childcare. For the past two summers Tyler has also gone on  week long mission trips to San Francisco and served the homeless through street outreach, handing out personal care items, and volunteering in soup kitchens and food pantries.

When the opportunity to be part of this mission trip came up, I immediately wanted to go but it didn’t seem feasible and I didn't want it to be of my own doing. So I asked God to give me a confirmation if I was suppose to attend the trip. The next day, I met a friend for lunch (who was unaware of this prayer)  and was given a note with a $100 donation – the exact amount needed to be submitted for my deposit by the end of that week. I took that as confirmation! I am so excited to see how God is going to show up as Tyler and I work toward raising the funds needed to go.

We would like to invite you to partner with us on this journey as a "sender". We need to raise a fee of $995 each to cover the expenses for the trip, plus $240 for passport fees (the additional amount reflected in the goal amount of $2,318 accounts for credit/debit and gofundme processing fees). God has already been faithful in bringing the initial 10% deposit required. We would like to invite you to partner with us and hope you will consider making a donation toward our cost to attend the trip -  no amount is too small.
