Hi my name is Grayson Houston-Henderson, and I am raising money for the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center at Topsail Island, North Carolina. The hospital will use the money to help purchase food, medicine, perform surgeries, and fund the daily operations of the hospital.
I first started raising money for the hospital when I was 5 years old--and this is my 6th year--I have raised a combined total in excess of $7,500 and this year my goal is $2,500 to bring my overall total to $10,000.
You ask--how do I raise this money? I have made several posterboard educational displays which I utilize as as reference materials while I stand outside of restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores answering questions about the turtles and soliciting donations for the hospital. I have also been very fortunante that my family and friends have donated as well
