I have been awarded Impact Athlete Honors on the 2017 Colorado State Mens Basketball Team. As a recipient of this award, I have been invited to represent the great state of Colorado on the Mountain Conference Mens Basketball Team at the 21st annual Down Under Hoops Classic hosted on the Gold Coast of Australia in July. I depart on July 10th, 2017. I will spend 10 days competing in Brisbane. First off, I'd like to thank you all for your tremendous support throughout my life and athletic career so far. I wouldn't be the athlete I am today without you behind be. You have been a key driving force behind my decision to attend this event. You have helped me in ways that I can't even begin to explain. Now, I ask for your help once again. Unfortunately, this isn't a free trip. Down Under has done a great job in cutting the majority of the costs, but I still need to raise $4,699 by the first of June. That is a huge cost for me to come up with by myself. It would mean so much to be able to go on this life changing trip and represent our great '970'. This is a once in a lifetime experience that I do not want to miss.
