Dear Friends,
We need your help! For most, fall in southeastern Michigan is a favorite time of year. Families will enjoy football games, cider and donuts, pumpkin carving and new fall clothing. But for those who are challenged to meet basic needs, fall signals a precursor to winter where a warm coat is an unaffordable luxury. Tapper’s Diamonds & Fine Jewelry seeks to help metro-Detroiters stay warm this winter by hosting its 24th annual Coat Drive October 1 through November 16, 2015. -
NOW EXTENDED THROUGH NOVEMBER 30th!!
Our goal for 2015 is to distribute more than 3,500 winter coats, gloves and hats to the Metro Detroit community. We are seeking your support to help with this effort. Tapper’s, along with our partners, Morgan Stanley, WDIV Local Channel 4 and The Bottle Crew will be collecting new and gently used items at our locations around the community.
We urge you to give generously through financial contributions or clean out your closet during our coat drive this fall.
Tapper’s will collect funds online here with GoFundMe and will accept check donations mailed to our offices:

All donations collected will go toward the purchase of new coats, hats and gloves. A $20 donation will provide a child with a coat and gloves.
