Every year, Lee University's Intercultural Studies Program sends students around the globe in an effort to round out student education requirements with a taste of what non-profit mission work is all about. I have come near the end of my Lee experience and the destination for my trip is soon to be determined. Amanda and I have been blessed so tremendously by our loving family and friends who support God's call on our lives. We view this opprotunity as a continuation of God's molding process as our hearts are being refined in Him.
Every dollar of the money raised via this project site will go towards a partnership with an International Missions organization geared at discipling future missionaries.
As a student and member of a local church in Cleveland, Tn I am surrounded by people who are passionate about seeing people find freedom in Christ. Paul, an avid advocate and reformer for the message of the risen Christ writes in his appistles concerning the necessary partnerships in the spreading of the gospel. I am seeking those who would partner with me in the mission I am called to that we might see many awakened to an intimate knowledge of Jesus.
The Intercultural Studies department currently has 18 students around the world: in Cambodia, Ecuador, South Africa and in our nations capital, Washington D.C. The potential trip locations for my internship next summer include Jordan, Cambodia, and Japan. THIS IS NOT A STUDY ABROAD TRIP. Again, we will be working with existing ministries: preaching, teaching, observing, and most importantly, being discipled.
