Hello, I’m Mark Jones. I am doing a sponsored bike ride on an exercise bike to raise money for my daughter’s upcoming short film. I will be cycling 200km in the month of January to help fund the project- paying for things such as actors, props, filming locations etc.

The film my daughter and her crew are creating is called ‘A Quiet House’ It is a short psychological thriller that follows Sian (46) and Lewis (47), a married couple who spend their days attempting to reach out to their daughter, Hope. Sian brings meals to her room whilst Lewis waits and listens. However, the couple are stuck in a loop that conceals reality. The evening brings warmth and comfort, whilst the harsh morning light reveals the truth of what lies beyond Hope’s door.

This film covers many important topics such as loss, the affects of aging, and memory.

As well as being a university passion project, this film also aims to raise awareness for those who are dealing with these issues. Without funding, this film will not be possible. So give if you can, or share so we can reach more people.
