My Name is Tre Bills and I have been learning screenwriting and directing over the past 4 years. During the time I've spent I've also used that time having fun making Youtube videos with my closest friends and now I am finally going to do something I've been waiting to do with my closest friends as well. Making my first short film. Along with their help as well as new friends I've met along my journey and with your help as well. I will be able to bring this vision into existence.

Budget:
I am raising $2500 which will be used to pay for catering for my cast and crew for 4 days. Production design and special fx. Renting equipment. Covid safety equipment such as masks and hand sanitizer. Entry fees for festivals and theater rental for premier. Filming permits and insurance as well as posters being made using artwork for the film done by my good friend Amber. A full pie chart of how the funds will be used is listed below

About the Film:
20 Sack is a fifteen minute short film about two friends who have one goal for their day. To pick up weed so that they can enjoy their day off. It's not a weed comedy. Throughout the film the reach the speed bump of not being to find someone to pick up weed from. It's not a weed comedy. I can't say too much more without giving away the ending but this script has been three years in the making and now I have nothing left to do but film it. The only thing I will say about it is that it's not a weed comedy.

Where we are currently:
Over the past couple months we have been working very hard on the pre-production process. The script is finalized and is exactly where we want it and are now finishing up the storyboards for the film. Below are some examples. Auditions have been done and four out of the five roles are casted. As soon as my fifth spot is filled I will have cast posted below. From here will be scheduling table reads as well as a promotional photoshoot that we will use to create the poster for the film which is being done by @Byambz on Instagram. Below will be the amazing concept art she has created. We have also locked down 3 out of the 4 locations we will be using for the film and are currently scouting to have the 4th one locked down that way we were able to film by late May-Early June. This will be a 4 day shoot.

The best part of this film for me is that I will be surrounded by not only people with experience in film but also people I am proud to call my friends. From the crew to the cast. From the film artist all the way to the extras these are people I have trusted dearly over the years and I am so grateful to have them by my side for my first project. This is my team that is working with me on 20 Sack.

Has worked on many films over his years on both collegiate and professional levels. His heart beats film and puts nothing less than 100% into every project.

Tiers:
This being my first short there was not too much to play with as far as tiers go but I do have something for everyone that donates no matter the amount to show how truly grateful I am to everyone helping me on this journey.

Tier 1:
Any amount donated you will see your name in the credits as a special thank you.

Tier 2:
For anyone donating $10 or more. You will have your ticket for the screening paid for. Whether you are local and going to be able to make it to the theater or if you are out of town and will be able to watch an online viewing of the film your ticket is officially purchased.

Tier 3:
For anyone donating $20 or more. You will receive both a credit in the film as well as you ticket for the viewing. Above that you will also receive a film poster once they are officially done being made.

This is not a hobby for me. This is a big first step and a big learning experience for not only me but other people involved as well. This film is being made  and nothing is going to stop that from happening. I appreciate everyone reading this whether you are donating or are just as excited as me for this to happen.
