2 yr old Taylors fight with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma

Donation protected
This is Taylor Nova Ruff. Our youngest of 5 children. Our beautiful blessing has been diagnosed with this deadly disease seemingly out of thin air. After almost two months of repeated trips to the emergency rooms and the pediatrician for a solution to her constant fever, we were finally introduced to this new combination of words we've never heard or expected to hear. Stage 4 Nueroblastoma. A 50% survival rate. Cancer.

Cancer?!! But you said it was probably strep throat or some viral bug that would eventually pass!? Cancer?!!

A brief glimpse of our initial reaction when given the news. Stunned. Shock. Fear. Ignorance. Anger. Worry. DISBELIEF.

Before we could even wrap our minds around this being real, or even learn the pronunciation of this new word. The doctors were urging us to act quickly and start treatment immediately as the disease is very aggressive and has already begun to spread. Dumbfounded, we nervously sat through a crash course about the illness while abruptly agreeing to the high-intensity treatment being suggested. Being left to do research and ask questions along the way.

We are approaching two months of treatment and still trying to digest the fact that this is our baby girl's as well as our family's new reality. How can this be!? She's so perfect. We have been on an absolute quest for information on any and everything that would assist in our Taylor's healing. We have watched a slew of videos, documentaries, asked countless questions along with visits to herbalist and herb shops to acquire more tools and knowledge. And with everything we've picked up along the way, most importantly we have remembered to relay heavily on the thing we've been aware of all along. Our Faith. Our knowing trust and belief that she will, correction. She is already healed!

Thank GOD!!!

As for our plea to the community for help. We are both working parents with four other children and two households that require our support. And as you could probably understand it's not an easy thing to leave your sick two year old in a hospital alone with strangers for any amount of time. We are committed to staying by her side through every step of the way. Someone will always be there in that room with her to hold her hand. We are just trying to keep everything together, as her care and wellbeing are demanding much greater attention than our careers at this point.  But WE WILL get through this!

We thank you for all of your prayers and support in doing so.
