Help support a young family wondering where their papi went. While parked in his work van, Edvin was detained, and in less than a week, deported to Guatemala. Edvin’s two young daughters (ages seven and three) are struggling to understand why their dad didn't return from work. And his wife, Maria, is now having to support the three of them on her own as Edvin was the primary provider. With the sudden disappearance of her dad, the oldest daughter is having difficulty finishing her first year of elementary school. Maria is caring for her youngest daughter and is only able to work part-time.

To lighten her burden, Maria is asking for assistance with rent and other expenses as she figures out next steps for her and her daughters without their dad.
