Help My Daughters heal from an unprovoked brutal attack

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate community,
As a heartbroken mother, I’m reaching out with a desperate plea for support for my two incredible daughters, Victoria (19) and Isabella (18), who were viciously attacked without provocation by a drunk adult male on August 9th, 2025, as they were leaving a Jason Aldean concert at The Pavilion at Starlake in Pittsburgh, PA. My girls were simply walking back to their vehicle, with no security or protection around, when this man, who had been making inappropriate remarks to other women, turned his aggression on them, leaving them with severe physical injuries and deep emotional trauma.
Victoria suffered a severely swollen head and face, broken ribs, and extensive bruising, requiring urgent medical care and a painful recovery. Isabella endured abrasions and severe bruising, compounding the challenges she faces managing her Type 1 diabetes. To make matters worse, my daughters are now enduring misogynistic direct messages online, adding an unbearable emotional burden when they should be focusing on their college courses and bright futures. I want to clarify that this incident is not connected to another altercation at the same concert involving a group attack, as some have confused the two. This was a separate, unprovoked assault on my daughters alone.
Victoria, with her fierce passion for criminal justice, dreams of making the world a better place. Isabella, inspired by her own journey with Type 1 diabetes, aspires to become an endocrinologist to help others. But now, my girls are struggling to feel safe, reclaim their strength, and cope with the added pain of online harassment. The medical bills for Victoria’s hospital care, Isabella’s ongoing diabetes management, and the therapy they both need to heal emotionally are overwhelming.
Your generosity can help lift this burden. Every donation will go directly toward hospital visits, counseling sessions to address both the attack and the online harassment, and unexpected expenses as I fight to help Victoria and Isabella recover. If you can’t donate, please share our story to show my daughters they’re surrounded by love and support, and to help clarify the truth of their experience. Together, we can help them refocus on their dreams, rebuild their lives, and remind them they’re not alone in this battle.

With all my love and gratitude, Erika
