Fighting for My Life After 3 heart surgeries
Donation protected
My name is Ciara, and I never imagined I’d be writing this. I’ve now been through atrial fibrillation twice, and I just had my third heart surgery Monday Aug 11th. My heart developed a severe, life-threatening infection that nearly took my life.
The past few months have been a blur of hospital rooms, machines beeping, and doctors’ voices telling me the next surgery can’t wait. Every day is filled with uncertainty — wondering if I’ll make it to see tomorrow, wondering how I’ll keep a roof over my head, wondering how I’ll pay for the medications that keep my heart beating.
While I’m fighting for my health, my bills are piling up faster than I can keep up. I’m unable to work, and the medical costs, living expenses, and daily needs have drained everything I had. I’m terrified not just for my health, but for how I’ll survive after all of this.
I’m asking — no, I’m begging — for your help. Any amount, no matter how small, will go toward keeping me afloat while I fight through this. Your donation could help me afford the medications that prevent another episode, cover the rent I’m falling behind on, and keep the lights on while I recover.
I’ve learned how fragile life really is. If you can help, please do. If you can’t donate, please share my story. You could be the reason I get the chance to heal and keep living.
Please help me make it through this.
