2 new knees in ’22. Help Odin get surgery

Hi, I’m Morgan and that handsome canine in the pics is my best friend, Odin. Odin will be 6 this year. He is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He’s never met a stranger, loves his mom, his cat, and running really really fast playing fetch. Which leads us into how we got here today. While running at full mach speed playing fetch in October, Odin ruptured his right cruciate ligament (basically a dogs ACL), and while waiting patiently for a surgical appointment and trying to get around the house he sadly ruptured his left cruciate as well (which the vet informed us that 70% of dogs that tear one, will do the other within two years. Lucky us, right? ). I’m less than 2 years out of grad school with a Masters of Social Work (and the loans to go with it) doing my best to make sure my dog lives his best life. And while I tried to get him pet insurance before this all happened in 2021, long story short, they came back and said they would not cover anything related to lameness which makes it extremely unhelpful in this situation. I will attach a picture of the surgical estimate for just ONE knee. I never dreamed I would be creating a go fund me, but if you have it in your heart, anything will help .
