2 Mountains in 2 days for SEMH United FC!

Hi my name is Jamie otherwise known as @mrgteacher. I teach amazing children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs/Neurodivergent and created a team called SEMH United as I found they did not have any opportunities to play football with a coach who understood their diverse needs.

We have been running for just over a year and supported by my school. However due to school funding cuts my school can no longer financially support SEMH United, I have had to contribute to pitch fees personally which is not sustainable. I have secured a 4g pitch for the next academic year which costs over £600 in total. I would also love to be able to get the players training tops so they have a sense of pride and feel connected.

I am planning to climb Helvellyn (950m) via Striding edge for day 1 with my brother supporting, followed by Scafell Pike (978m) on day 2. I will document the journey on my Instagram and Tiktok accounts (@mrgteacher). The climbs are to take place in October 2024.
