2 Month Old Stray Kitten Needs Orthopedic Surgery

On April 23, 2025, we were in a parking lot off of Hacienda Rd and Whittier Blvd when we saw a tiny black cat sprinting across the parking lot. We chased her down and, with the help of a few others, were able to capture her. Originally, we thought it would be no issue as she was a kitten and we could quickly rehome her. Before taking her home to foster, we took her to the vet. At the vet, we learned some extremely troubling news. Her entire hip bone is shattered, her other leg is broken, and she will need to go to an orthopedic surgeon to fix it. We truly could not believe this as she was running all around the parking lot when we found her. We were left in a dilemma: euthanize her or raise the funds to fix her. She is only 2 months old and has so much life ahead of her. We could not even fathom not helping her.
