Save 2-Month Old Baby From Eye Cancer - Treatment Fund

With a heavy heart, we are reaching out to seek your support for our beloved son.

Born in January 2025, our little boy is just 2 months old, yet he is already fighting a tough battle against Retinoblastoma—a cruel eye cancer that attacks babies. Right eye is severely affected by the tumor, while the left eye partially, we hold onto a small hope to protect him from this awful disease.

Retinoblastoma is a rare cancer that starts in the retina and can spread fast if we don’t act quickly with strong treatment.

Our tiny son is being cared for at Sri Ramachandra Medical Center in Chennai (Case ID: #0003089833 E1, Oncology Block), where he faces hard rounds of chemotherapy and tricky laser treatments—things no parent dreams their newborn would need. The doctors have told us he needs initial 4-6 sessions of chemotherapy spread across next 6 months to control the cancer followed by few more sessions to completely eradicate it in both the eyes.

On top of that, the chemotherapy itself is dangerous for a baby so small. It weakens his tiny body, putting him at risk of infections and other serious problems. This means he needs extra care, like staying in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) between sessions, which makes the treatment even more expensive. The estimated cost for his treatment is close to 45,000 USD (65,000 CAD). For us, a young family hit by this terrible news, this feels impossible. We are running out of time and money.

As, his mom, Keerthi Priya Kundagol, and I, Nagasarath Pandurangi, stand by his side, we are giving everything we have to keep him alive, to give him a chance to see, to have a future. But this fight is breaking us.
