I dedicate my time to feeding and caring for multiple colonies of stray and abandoned cats in the Chester Hill and Auburn areas of Sydney. Most of these cats have been dumped or born on the streets, left to fend for themselves without food, shelter, or medical care.

Recently, I came across two tiny kittens who had been abandoned at one of the colonies. They were extremely unwell, covered in their own waste, suffering from bad diarrhea, severely dehydrated, and later developed dangerously high fevers. They stopped eating and became completely lethargic. I knew they wouldn’t survive without urgent medical attention.

I took them straight to the vet, where they were admitted and kept for three nights. They received life-saving treatment, and I visited them each day to make sure they knew they were safe and loved. Thankfully, they pulled through. These babies are now on the road to recovery, gaining strength every day, and I’m currently working on finding them safe and loving forever homes.

I work part time and most of my income goes directly into feeding and caring for the many cats I look after on the streets. While I don’t like asking for help, I simply cannot cover the cost of this unexpected vet bill on my own.

That’s why I’m reaching out today to ask for support. The total cost of the vet care for these two kittens has placed a big strain on me financially. Any contribution, no matter how small, would go a long way in helping me continue this work and give these kittens the future they deserve.
