2 House Fires, 1 month: The Sutton's in Nashville

Hi, my name is Lauren Bryan and I am fundraising for Stephen Sutton who is a sales rep on my team at SpotHopper.

Stephen and his family we're impacted not only once, but twice with back to back house fires. The first fire was at their family home on the night of January 17th. Their family was displaced into an extended stay hotel and were told it could be 4-5 months before they would be able to be back in their home.

Between the fire and smoke damage, the Sutton's lost a majority of their personal belonging in that fire. The family was then placed into a temporary AirBnb while their family home was being restored.

Yesterday, February 21st, tragedy struck twice. Inside their AirBnb, some sort of electrical fire happened while running the dryer. Once again, this already unsettled family has been displaced again, losing many of the few belongings that they had after fire number one.

Stephen and his wife Nicole have three children, all of which are homeschooled. You can imagine the stress this has put on Stephen and his family as they had just got settled and back into a routine. And now this has caused a lot of sadness and uncertainty for Stephen and his entire family.

Stephen is a respected member of the SpotHopper family, always having a positive attitude, even in the darkest of times.
