2 Alluvioni in 15 giorni. Aiutaci a ricominciare

Ciao siamo Maicol e Jessica di 33 e 30 anni.

Vivevamo a Faenza in affitto al piano terra quando il 3 Maggio la nostra casa è stata allagata e abbiamo perso quasi tutto quello che avevamo nell'appartamento e nel garage interrato, tra mobili, tanti piccoli elettrodomestici, oggetti e ricordi messi insieme nei nostri 15 anni insieme ma fortunatamente salvando le nostre auto e il nostro cincillà.

La casa sarebbe stata inabitabile per molti mesi così, col rammarico di non tornare più nella "nostra" casa, l’abbiamo lasciata e siamo stati accolti a casa dei genitori di Maicol.

La notte del 16/17 Maggio una seconda alluvione ci ha isolati al primo e ultimo piano, insieme ai genitori ed alla nonna di 90 anni che abitava al piano terra.

Abbiamo passato 9 ore di agonia, guardando il fiume salire le scale e sperando si fermasse prima di raggiungerci, in una notte al buio illuminata dalla casa di fianco in fiamme, sotto la pioggia e tra le urla dei vicini.

Per la seconda volta in 15 giorni siamo stati evacuati in gommone insieme al nostro cincillà, ma questa volta il fiume si è preso ciò che avevamo salvato dalla prima alluvione, e abbiamo perso anche un’auto.

Ora viviamo in un appartamento offertoci da un'amica.

La cosa più assurda è che essendo "soltanto in affitto" e non avendo la residenza nella casa alluvionata per le istituzioni non "risultiamo", siamo come fantasmi, e ci hanno detto che non ci spetterà nessun contributo, nonostante siamo alluvionati e fuori di casa come tanti altri.

Chiediamo un contributo per ripartire dopo queste due difficili esperienze che ci hanno portato via tutto.

Hi, we are Maicol and Jessica, 33 and 30 years old.

We lived in a rented apartment on the ground floor in Faenza when our house was flooded on May 3rd and we lost almost everything we had in the apartment and in the underground garage, including furniture, many small appliances, objects and memories put together in our 15 years together but fortunately saving our cars and our chinchilla.

The house would have been uninhabitable for many months so, regretting not returning to "our" house, we left it and were welcomed into the home of Maicol's parents.

On the night of 16/17 May a second flood isolated us on the first and top floor, together with our parents and 90-year-old grandmother who lived on the ground floor.

We spent 9 hours of agony, watching the river go upstairs and hoping it would stop before reaching us, in a dark night lit by the house next door on fire, in the rain and among the screams of the neighbours.

For the second time in 15 days we were evacuated by rubber boat together with our chinchilla, but this time the river took what we had saved from the first flood, and we also lost a car.

We now live in an apartment offered to us by a friend.

The most absurd thing is that since we are "only for rent" and do not have residence in the flooded house, we do not "result" for the institutions, we are like ghosts, and they told us that we will not be entitled to any contributions, even though we are flooded and out of the house like so many others.

We ask for a contribution to restart after these two difficult experiences that took everything away from us.
