Running Leeds Liverpool Canal (210km)

In 2012 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer but I was only 11-12 years old and I didn’t really understand what was going on and the impact of the situation only when I grew older I understood the severity of this condition and I want to do my bit in donating as much as I can. Fortunately she overcame the disease and is now completely healthy. When she was ill, Rosemere, a local charity in the north west which is funded by cancer research uk helped her so much through her time being ill. Along with this, my grandad, was diagnosed dementia a few years ago, and has been brought to a care home for his safety. I’m not going to make it soppy, but I wanted to do my bit for him too and I simply couldn’t choose one charity and not the other. I am going to run on the 26th of June 2021 and start in Liverpool and run to Leeds via the canal. It is a 210km run and I have made a few waypoints where I will sleep at night along the canal and wake up at 7 in the morning and commence my run.
