My brother starts having dizzy spells, losing his balance and headaches would come and go. Dino reaches out to us and is curious what it can be. I get a call because he thinks it may be Vertigo and I’ve battled with Vertigo in the past. We discuss what the symptoms are. He had gone to a local Centracare and was told it was a sinus infection, sent home. The symptoms continue and we went over some physical therapy for Vertigo; however this didn’t work either. Dino texts me saying my face numb. I told him to rush to the ER immediately, the first thing we all thought about was a stroke. After a CT Scan he was told he had a tumor the size of a baseball in the back of his head in his brain area. He was scheduled for surgery the next day. The entire family was in shock, in total disbelief, asking ourselves “How did this happen?”. Everyone went into Prayer Mode and all reached out to our Prayer Warriors. My heart sank and suddenly I realize “Oh no... due to this Coronavirus he can not have anyone with him, no one holding his hand or comforting me.” I thought of his wife, our parents, all of us were really sad, but our Faith never waivered. His tumor was removed successfully, he’s in great Spirits. My sister Miriam and I have been pumping him up with optimism and strength. Prayers were heard all around the World. God mercifully blessed our brother and his neurosurgeon and medical team from Advent Health W.P. The tumor was benign ( Praise God) additional tests are required to determine where the cancer stems from his lungs or colon, where the Doctors originally suspected. (sorry some information was not funneled correctly earlier) He meets with Oncologist tomorrow 5/02 to learn more. Dino has missed approximately 3 weeks of work battling with this and moving forward he will be having some radiation to ensure the cancer does not return and physical therapy missing more work and income. His family out of pocket health insurance annual deduction is $5,000 plus all these medical bills will start pouring in. He’s the main bread winner in his household, so we are asking for any donation of you to help our brother and his family. Please share on your social media. Help us help him Dino is highly loved by his family, friends, neighbors and all that come in contact with him. He’s a people person with a heart of Gold. I wish to Thank ALL of you in advance, from the bottom of hearts. If we ALL donate a little here and there we can make a difference. Keep the prayers coming for a full recovery. Blessings to all and stay safe. His sister, Angie aka Buttercup as Dino calls me xoxo
